Challenge the backtest itself.
A high return is not proof of a sound strategy. Check execution assumptions, selection after repeated trials, and resilience in falling markets.

Frequently asked questions
What is LogiCandle?
A web service for turning a chart-based trading idea into explicit rules, backtesting those rules on historical data, and checking whether the result can be trusted. You can also receive a Telegram alert when a saved strategy's entry conditions match.
Can I backtest without coding?
Yes. Search for condition blocks such as moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands and candle patterns, then combine them with AND/OR. No Python or Pine Script is needed.
Which markets and timeframes are supported?
Binance Spot, Binance USDT-M Futures, US stocks · Binance TradFi, Coinbase, Binance.US, on 8 timeframes from 1-minute to monthly candles.
How are backtest results validated?
The report checks whether the edge survives higher trading costs, holds up in a recent period not used while designing the strategy (out-of-sample), beats random entries, survives nearby stop and holding settings, depends on a few large winners, works in weak markets, and keeps a resampled average above zero.
What is overfitting?
Tuning rules and numbers on charts you have already seen improves past scores without improving results on new data. LogiCandle sets aside the last part of the history and lets you open it once, after the rules are fixed, as an out-of-sample test.
How are market data and my strategies handled?
Your browser downloads crypto prices directly from the exchanges' public APIs and runs the calculation locally. Full results such as charts and trades stay in your browser; the server keeps your strategies and summary statistics. No exchange account, API key or order permission is connected.
How do alerts work?
Add a saved strategy to monitoring and connect Telegram. You get a message when the entry conditions match on a closed candle. No orders are placed.
Is it free?
Basic use is free. You receive candles, the unit spent on analysis runs, when you sign up and again on each day you visit.
Does LogiCandle give investment advice or trade signals?
No. It is a research tool that computes rules you define on historical data. It does not provide investment advice or solicit trades, and past performance does not guarantee future returns.
